Reciprocity

Reciprocity: giving and receiving.

Our work moves in a circle. Gifts make experiences possible for others; those experiences cultivate community and care that flow back out again. You’re invited into that circle from whichever side you stand on today.

Giving

Every gift becomes someone else’s first morning in the forest. When you give, you don’t fund an organization, you complete a circle. Your generosity becomes another person’s wellbeing, another guide’s training, another community’s welcome into nature.

The Reciprocity Fund

One fund, two directions. Gifts flow in from those who can give; supported spots flow out to those who need them. Give, receive, and the circle continues. The Fund underwrites scholarships and sliding-scale access across our programs.

Nature Medicine Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Receiving

No one is turned away for lack of means. Through the Reciprocity Fund, supported and sliding-scale spots keep every program within reach, because connection to the natural world belongs to everyone.

Many of our offerings are donation-based or offered on a sliding scale, so what you pay is never what decides whether you belong. When you reach out, we’ll talk through what’s possible and find a way in.
